RACE-approved for 2 hours of CE credit. For the hematology sessions we will discuss the parts of a complete blood count, RBC/PLT indices, differential counts, blood smear prep technique, RBC morphologic changes, leukogram patterns, infectious agents, and interpretation of scatter plot and dot plots. This course will provide veterinarians and technicians with the skills and confidence to assess CBC results in correlation with the clinical history and blood smear evaluation.
